The Old Barnwell Foundation
To serve more people and deepen our impact, Old Barnwell established the Old Barnwell Foundation, a separate 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Rooted in the leadership and generosity of our members – and strengthened by partners, guests, and supporters – the Foundation transforms shared values into action that reaches far beyond the club.
Building on Old Barnwell’s founding mission, the Foundation carries that purpose forward as a philanthropic endeavor focused on opportunity, service, and long-term impact through golf in reaching out to the greater Aiken and Barnwell Counties and beyond.
Old Barnwell’s strength has always been its people. When members mentor a student, share expertise, host guests, or tell our story, the mission grows and the impact multiplies.

Youth Empowerment
- Mentorship, caddie programs, and on- and off-course experiences help young people build confidence, leadership, and life skills
Educational Opportunity
- Scholarships, tutoring, and partnerships with schools and universities connect academic success to opportunity in golf and beyond

- Internships, mentorship, and professional networks open pathways to meaningful careers and lasting independence.
